The Chillicothe EAA chapter 944 Fly-In is this Saturday at the Chillicothe airport. Spokesperson Kathy Hamilton says the day will start, rain or shine, with a breakfast at 7:00 am.
Hamilton says they will have an opening ceremony at 8:00, to honor Veterans, Law Enforcement Agencies, Chillicothe Ambulance & Fire Department, Mayor Reed Dupy, the Pilots that will be flying Young Eagles, Advance Air Academy & Scholarships for Flying Recipients and others.
The Young Eagle flights will start at 9:00 am. She says this is the 26th year for the Young Eagle program.
Free will offerings are accepted to help offset the cost of the fuel during those flights.
