The City of Chillicothe is considering the purchase of a laydown machine for the Street Department. City Administrator Darin Chappell says this is used for laying pavement on the streets.
The council asked that Chappell request bids for a good used machine. There is one available through a Caterpillar dealer at what they feel is a good price, but it is above the city’s limit to purchase without bids.
