Five different Chillicothe Boys Soccer players scored goals in a 5 to 3 home win over St Joseph Benton.
Drake Cosgrove of Chillicothe started the scoring early, getting a goal in the 9th minute off a Mason Baxter assist.
Baxter scored 10 minutes later on a penalty kick. Three minutes after that Benton scored to wrap up the scoring in the first half.
The Cardinals tied the score in the 43rd minute but Chillicothe bounced back.
Chace Corbin scored off a Caleb Vance assist in the 47th minute. Three minutes after that Wyatt Brandsgaard scored off a Baxter assist and Sam Reeter scored in the 59th minute off a Cosgrove assist.
Benton scored an unassisted goal in the 79th minute for the final score.
Chillicothe Goalkeeper Jaxon Albertson had one save.
The victory avenged a Hornets 3-1 loss to Benton two weeks ago.
The Benton Junior Varsity beat the Hornets JV 2 to 1. Chillicothe’s JV goal was by Jadon Collins.
