Chillicothe police responded to 170 calls for the early part of the week. Some of the calls include:
Tuesday
The calls included well-being check, assisting with medical calls and checking of businesses in the overnight hours.
7:35 PM, Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Graves for a report of shoplifting. They arrested a 31-year-old woman for stealing. She was processed, cited, and released.
Monday
At 10:43 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a panic alarm in the 2700 block of N. Washington St. Officers discovered there was no emergency.
At 2:45 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen at the Police Department who received a strange package. Officers inspected the package and contents and handled proper disposal.
At 4:09 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a dog running-at-large in the area of Polk St. and Elm St. Officers were unable to capture the dog. Animal Control was notified.
At 4:09 p.m., Officers arrested a 38-year-old man on a Probation & Parole warrant. The man was processed and transported to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail.
