It seems one of the scariest things about Halloween this year is a virus that has worried us all for many months… COVID-19. The Livingston County Health Center says they want you to be able to celebrate. Ann Burchette from the Health Center says keep COVID-19 in mind.
They, of course, are encouraging those distributing the candy or packing bags to wash and sanitize your hands often.
Burchette says masks are also important.
Other tips include avoiding crowds and of course, when the Trick-or-Treating is complete, parents should check the candy before it is eaten by the children. It might be a good idea to wipe down the candy wrappers.
