The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 98 calls for service Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
8:22 am, School Officer out at Chillicothe Middle School reference juveniles fighting. Report taken.
9:51 am, Officer were at the Probation/Parole office and arrested an individual on a warrant. They were taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
9:52 am, Officers took a report of a runaway juvenile in the 2500 block of Short Street. After a few hours the juvenile was located in a nearby jurisdiction and returned to their parents.
11:35 am, Subject reporting suspect trying to scam person over the phone, stating they were from Social Security. PD reminds citizens not to disclose personal or banking information over the phone and to not make purchases for someone requiring you to do so over the phone, or possibly even threatening you with arrest.
12:31 pm, School Officer out at Middle School on an issue with a juvenile student. Report taken.
2:27 pm, Officers assisted Emergency Services with a dumpster fire in the alley of the 600 block of Jackson Street.
11:27 pm, Officers spoke with an individual on phone wanting to provide information on illegal drug usage.
