The 55 & Go’s “I Will Donate a Good Winter Coat” campaign is underway and center director Patty Mefford says they are collecting New or Gently Used coats of all sizes. Mefford says they are very low on coats to give this year.
As they have in the past, 55 & GO is partnering with Area Schools, Livingston County Health Center, Operation Help, Safe Haven Center, and the Community Resource Center.
The program makes coats available to children and adults in need.
If you have a good winter coat to donate, they may be brought to the 55 & Go center, at 440 Locust Street, just south of the main library. If you have questions, call 646-0010.
