One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Grundy County on Friday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident hammed at 10:25 am Friday on highway 65 two miles north of Farmersville.
A car driven by 54-year-old Shawn Walker of Trenton slowed and attempted to make a left turn into a private drive. A car, driven by 35-year-old Nicole Henley of Chillicothe, allegedly crossed the center line and tried to pass the Walker vehicle but struck the rear of the car.
Walker was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The Highway Patrol reports arresting Henley at 11:19 am for alleged possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated-drugs, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner resulting in an accident and operating a motor vehicle without providing financial responsibility. She was taken to the Grundy County Sheriff’s office and later released.
