Winter Sports Plans Progressing

Plans are moving forward for the Winter Sports season for Chillicothe. The Midland Empire Conference has issued fan guidelines for Conference member schools participating in Winter Sports.
The guidelines include attendance limited to six family members per participant for both teams. Individual students will not be admitted unless they are family members on a pass list.
Fans will be expected to sit with their families and maintain social distancing from other fans. There will be no student section.
Face coverings will be required at all indoor events for anyone not actively participating in the contest.
Dance teams will be allowed to perform at home events but there will be no pep band. Cheerleaders will be allowed at home and away events.
Wrestling tournaments will be limited to two family members per participant. Non-tournaments will follow regular guidelines.
Chillicothe winter sports picture day will be November 16th after school in the CHS gym with wrestling pictures at the CMS field house.
CHS Principal Nagel says the school will try to accomplish Meet the Hornets virtually this year.
The inter-scrimmage is still planned on Nov 16th . The Jamboree is planned on the 19th against Brookfield. Trenton will not be attending.
