One person was injured in an accident at US 36 and Mitchell Avenue Wednesday afternoon. At about 2:00 pm, Chillicothe Fire Fighters responded to the accident and found two vehicles had been involved. They used rescue tools to remove the door of one car to remove a patient. The report states the person was taken to an area hospital.
The officer on the scene states both vehicles were eastbound. The driver in the outside lane attempted to make a left turn and pulled into the path of the other driver resulting in the accident.
