Applications are being accepted to fill an opening on the Chillicothe Board of Public Works. The person appointed would fill the seat currently held by Lynn Leopard, who will complete his second term on the board on December 17th.
Qualifications to fill this opening include:
- Resident of the City of Chillicothe for at least two (2) years preceding their appointment.
- [Not more than 2 members of the board of public works shall belong to the same political party and its administration shall in all respects be entirely non-partisan]. This applicant must be associated with a political party other than republican.
Interested parties can pick up a board volunteer form at the City Clerk’s office at City Hall 715 Washington Street Forms must be submitted by December 4.
