The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 82 calls for service Saturday and helped with traffic for the Chillicothe Holiday Parade. Some of the calls for service include:
3:33 am, Report of suspicious vehicle circling the area of 1300 block of Monroe Street. Officers unable to locate the vehicle.
11:28 am, Officers assisted the Children’s Division on an investigation of child abuse in the 400 block of Mack Street. This investigation is on-going.
2:32 pm, Officer speaking with KCPD about a vehicle that belongs to Chillicothe resident and has been stolen in KC. KCPD will call the owner.
3:33 pm, Officer assisted Emergency Services with an oven fire in the 200 block of Hillcrest Street.
6:35 pm, Officers out in the 1300 block of Monroe Street about the discovery of an illegal controlled substance. The person was cited for paraphernalia and the controlled substance.
7:08 pm, A stolen vehicle report from 300 block of Edgerton Street. A suspect was named from later contact and the vehicle was recovered and returned to the owners. Officers were unable to locate the suspect and will send a report to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of charges.
10:01 pm, Report of a disoriented person in the area of 2600 block of Tomahawk Road. The person was returned to a facility.
12:00 am, Officer out in the 400 block of E. Jackson Street, returning reported stolen vehicle to the owner.
