The Missouri Highway Patrol reported one accident and one arrest in the area counties Monday
A 68-year-old Jameson woman had minor injuries following a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 35 near Pattonsburg. State Troopers report Shelia Seager was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment following the accident at about 2:00 pm. The report states she was northbound and lost control on the slush-covered roadway and went off the east side of the road and hit the bridge rail. She was wearing a safety belt.
A Brookfield man was arrested in Randolph County Monday. State Troopers arrested 26-year-old James Jefferson at about 4:15 pm for three counts of alleged failure to register as a sex offender. He was processed and released with a summons.
