Saturday afternoon, two very talented football teams will meet on Bob Fairchild Field at Jerry Litton Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe to play for the MSHSAA 8-Man Football Championship.
The Southwest Livingston County Wildcats have a short drive to meet the North Andrew Cardinals at 1:00pm Saturday.
Southwest Coach Oren Magruder says North Andrew is traditionally successful.
Magruder says his Southwest team must match North Andrew’s aggressiveness.
Southwest is 11-1 and averaging 64.5 points per game and have allowed an average of 28.2 points per game,
North Andrew is 13-0 and averaging 48 points per game and allowing 21 points per game.
Southwest’s lone loss was a 4-point loss to Mound City. North Andrew’s closest win was by 5 points over South Holt/Nodaway-Holt.
