Chillicothe Police had a fairly quiet Thanksgiving Day, with a light call volume. The officers checked complaints of Careless and Imprudent Drivers, illegally parked cars and commercial business alarms.
One call at about 2:30 pm, for a commercial business alarm, an officer was responded when it was determined it was a false alarm. The officer was monitoring pedestrians at the business as he was driving and struck a concrete base for a light pole. The accident was investigated by the highway patrol.
