Next weekend’s State Football Championship match ups are set, and the Midland Empire Conference has two teams in the finals.
In Class 1: Mid Buchanan over Adrian 48-13. They meet Windsor, a 14-12 winner over Thayer.
In Class 2: St Pius X of the M.E.C. beat Palmyra 31-14. Pius will face Lamar, 1 42-7 winner over Jefferson of Festus.
In Class 3 it will be a rematch from a week one game. Maryville beat Cassville 30 to 28 and Blair Oaks over Cardinal Ritter 55 to 46.
In Class 4: Helias Catholic beat Smithville 13 to 10 and M.I.C.D.S downed Union 56 to 20.
In Class 5: Platte County beat Webb City 24-21 and faces Jackson, a 49-14 winner over Fort Zumwalt North.
In Class 6 it was DeSmet winning the championship Saturday over Fox 13-0.
