Are you thinking about running for City Elected Office? Filing for the April Election will open on December 15th. Filing will take place at Chillicothe City Hall. All of Chillicothe’s elected offices will be on the ballot. The election is non-partisan and each office has a 2-year term. That includes:
Chillicothe Mayor
Councilman At Large
1st Ward Councilman
2nd Ward Councilman
3rd Ward Councilman
4th Ward Councilman
City Clerk
City Auditor.
There are also three offices that have no duties but remain on the ballot. They include: City Treasurer, City Attorney, and City Constable. Pay for these positions are $1 per year.
Filing for City Office will be open until January 19th at 5:00 pm. the election will be held on April 6th.
