The Chillicothe Junior Varsity girls beat Mid Buchanan last night 44 to 13.
Chillicothe was led by Delanie Kieffer with 10, Kayanna Cranmer with 8, Izzie Montgomery and Cali Burkhard each with six, Hope Helton and Kinlei Boley each with three and Madison Albaugh, Kaylynn Cranmer, Kirsten Dunn and Bre Pithan each with two points.
The Chillicothe Junior Varsity Boys beat Mid Buchanan JV 47 to 18. For the JV Hornets, Kyle Young led the scoring with 13 points, Clayton Savage with 8, Jackson Trout with 7, Alijah Hibner with 6, Quentin Cranmer with 4, Carsen Samm with 3, Gabe Hansen, Andrew Hecker and Jackson Reeter each with 2 points .
In 8th Grade Boys basketball, Truman beat Chillicothe 45-13 in the Savannah Middle School tournament. Chillicothe was led by Jack Bernhard with 3 points, Kenyen Gannan, Braden Shoop, Silas Midgyett, Fisk Miller and Ashton Baker all with two points each.
The Bishop Hogan middle school basketball teams beat Trenton. The Bishop Hogan girls won 47 to 9, led by Lyla Beetsma with 15, Carman Woodworth and Ava Leamer each with 12, Beau Graves and Sadie Bonderer each with four.
The Bishop Hogan boys won 35 to 26, led by Oliver Perry with 12, Jack Marshall with 10, Jaydin Kohl with 8, Noah Rinehart with 3, Avery Philips with 2 and playing time for Remington Isaacs and Sam Wire.
