The month of November saw the number of COVID-19 cases nearly double, going from 438 to 805, an increase of 367. That is about 130 more cases than were added in the month of October.
During November, there were 15 Livingston County residents hospitalized due to COVID-19. If they were first seen at Hedrick Medical Center, they often transferred to be treated at a hospital in the Kansas City Area.
Livingston County also saw 12 deaths due to COVID-19. That included five nursing home residents that died.
The health Center also reported 33 cases at schools around the county. That includes 15 students and 18 staff.
As of December 1st, the number of COVID-19 cases in Livingston County is at 816. That includes 63 active cases and 16 that are hospitalized. Of the current cases, 20 are from area facilities and 7 attend Livingston County Schools. The number of deaths in the county is at 22.
