Chillicothe firefighters responded to a grass fire, Saturday at about 2:00 pm. The call was to 959 LIV 529, west of Chillicothe. The fire crew arrived in about 8 minutes to find about a quarter of an acre was burning. The resident had been burning a pond bank when the fire got out of control. The fire crew used about 200 gallons of water to put out the fire. They were on the scene for less than 20 minutes.
