A Trenton Police Officer was arrested and fired after second-degree statutory rape charges were filed. Twenty-five year old Michael Wilson was arrested Wednesday by the Missouri Highway Patrol and was held without bond.
Wilson is alleged to have engaged in sexual intercourse with a girl who was 15 at the time. Wilson is also alleged to have admitted knowing the girls age.
The Trenton Police Chief announced Wednesday that “Based on recent events and additional information gathered, Michael Wilson has been terminated from the Trenton Police Department effective immediately.”
Wilson had been employed by the Trenton Police Department since July of 2018.
