A bridge south of Third Street on LIV 235, west of Chillicothe, will be replaced this fall. Livingston County Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says they met with the contractor for the $233,000 project that will begin in late September.
Douglas says the bridge is a BRO project and will be built with federal money.
The current bridge that will be replaced had little to no sides. Douglas says the new bridge will have sides or guard rails and be much safer.
