Eleven Senior Centers in the region have received grants of $10,000 in CARES Act funding from the Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri. The grants were awarded to the senior centers in Caldwell, Grundy, Harrison, Livingston, Mercer, Putnam, and Sullivan counties. There are two counties that have two senior centers – Daviess and Linn counties
The senior centers plan to use the funding in their areas of most need. This could include repairs, meals, special programs, and more.
