The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 87 calls for service Tuesday. Those calls include:
7:38 am, Officers out to assist Emergency Services with a medical call for an unresponsive 62-year-old man in 400 block of E. Third Street. The Coroner was contacted and the investigation continuing.
8:02 am, Officers out at various locations investigating call of an unresponsive resident of 400 block of E. Third Street.
10:22 am, Officer out in the 10 block of S. Washington Street arresting subject on Probation/Parole warrant. Subject transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.
11:44 am, Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash in the 500 block of S. Washington St. One driver was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way causing a traffic crash and one was cited for no provide proof of insurance. Both vehicles received minor damage.
12:19 pm, Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident blocking the roadway near Ryan Lane and Washington Street. The investigation determined that one driver was distracted causing him to rear-end the other vehicle. Both parties were uninjured and neither vehicle required towing.
1:34 pm, Subject in PD reporting theft of property in the 1700 block of Morningside Drive. Investigation continuing.
4:08 pm, Accident reported at Third and Cherry Streets. There was minor damage to both vehicles, no injuries, no citations, neither vehicle was towed from the scene.
5:40 pm, Call to check well-being of a person in the 1400 block of N. Washington Street. The person was reported as confused and walking dangerously close to traffic. Officers located the person and they were taken to Hedrick Medical Center for evaluation then transferred to another facility for treatment.
10:20 pm, Subject calling to report someone trying to get in a basement door in the 1400 block of Calhoun Street. Officers unable to locate anyone.
