A new piece of equipment will allow the Chillicothe Street Department to handle the paving of smaller streets, parking lots, and alleys. The Chillicothe City Council approved the purchase of a paver from Foley Equipment. City Administrator Darin Chappell says this does include some training.
The cost of the paver is $94,400 and the purchase is financed through Caterpillar on a five-year lease-purchase agreement.
