The Chillicothe Police Department responded to several incidents and continued several investigations Monday. They had 95 calls for service.
At 9:09 a.m., a lost Missouri Driver’s License was turned in to the Police Department. Efforts will be made to contact the owner.
At 10:55 a.m., Officers took a report of identity theft at the Police Department. The investigation is on-going.
At 11:26 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible stolen vehicle from another jurisdiction in the 700 block of S. Washington St. Officers discovered it was not the stolen vehicle.
At 1:58 p.m., Officers recovered a bicycle in the 1000 block of Clay St.
At 2:58 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a business alarm in the 10 block of Elm St. Officers discovered the business was closed and a customer entered, unaware it was closed, through an unsecured door. Officers discovered no crime had been committed.
At 6:20 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a one-vehicle non-injury traffic crash in the 300 block of Jackson St. Officers reported the vehicle slid on the ice and struck a pole.
At 6:32 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen at the Police Department in reference to threatening messages. Officers discovered the incident occurred in another jurisdiction and the citizen was referred there.
At 9:11 p.m., Officers took a report of fraud/scam at the Police Department. The investigation is on-going.
