A Gallatin teen was injured in a single-vehicle accident Monday morning near Gallatin. State Troopers report the 16-year-old girl was northbound on Route CC, five miles southwest of Gallatin, when she lost control on the snow and ice-covered roadway. According to the report, at about 9:20 am, she ran off the west side of the road, struck a culvert, went airborne, striking a utility pole and tree before her vehicle overturned, coming to rest on the driver’s side. The girl was not wearing a safety belt and had moderate injuries. She was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.
