The annual EAA Chapter 944 Fly-In at the Chillicothe Airport was Saturday and they had great weather and excellent turnout. Gaylon Potter, from the EAA Chapter says this event give many young people their first opportunity to fly.
Potter says the events on the ground, including the breakfast and a chance at some prizes, are also a fundraiser for the chapter.
Prior to the young eagle flights, the EAA had recognition of veterans and the area law enforcement and fire fighters for their service to our country and our community.
