Both of Chillicothe’s varsity basketball teams are in action tonight in the Lawson Tournament. The #1 seed Lady Hornets have a re-match with Penney of Hamilton at 7:30pm at Lawson’s Barker Gym. Chillicothe beat Richmond 73-13 in the first round while Hamilton beat West Platte 37-32. Chillicothe beat Hamilton in the first game of the season.
Chillicothe coach Darren Smith feels this could be a tough rematch.
Chillicothe won the season opening game 48-24. Tonight’s game is at 7:30pm.
The #2 seed Hornet Boys face #3 seed Gallatin in the semi-final game at 7:00pm at Lawson’s high school gym. Hornets coach Tim Cool thinks Gallatin is a good team
