The fiscal year for the City of Chillicothe begins April 1st and the administration have been working on the 2021/22 budget. City Administrator Darin Chappell says they are still in the preliminary stages.
Chappell says he prefers a very conservative approach.
As part of the budget process, the City Council will meet with the Board of Public Works, who prepares the budget for CMU. That budget requires approval by the council. A workshop session will be held on March 16th at Noon.
