The Chillicothe Lady Hornets basketball team returns to competition tonight in a Midland Empire Conference game at home against St Pius X.
The two teams have similar statistics. Chillicothe is 10-1 while Pius is 9-1.
Pius averages 50.4 points per game and allows 38.4 points per game.
Chillicothe averages 53 points per game and allows 29 points per game
St Pius’ only loss was to Maryville 42 to 38.
Pius has beaten Chillicothe the last four meetings since losing to Chillicothe in the state tournament in 2015.
St Pius has played an aggressive schedule against larger schools with wins over teams such as Raytown, St Joseph Central, Staley, Smithville, and Benton.
