Chillicothe High School Basketball teams have a varsity double-header tonight at the Chillicothe gym. The Lady Hornets and Hornets both host East Buchanan in non-conference games.
In the Girls game at 5:30, the Lady Hornets look to bounce back from a close loss to St Pius X on Tuesday that dropped them to a 10-2 record. East Buchanan girls’ team is listed with a 3-6 record on the season. They average 40 points a game and allow 43 points per game.
The boys teams will compete at the conclusion of the girls game. The Hornet Boys are 7-3 and coming off a 3rd place finish in the Lawson Tournament. East Buchanan is 7-5 on the season and is coming off a 3-overtime loss to Savannah earlier this week. This is the first non-tournament meeting between the schools after facing each other six times in the last 9 years in the Bishop LeBlond Tournament.
