A free virtual online clinic on the use of crossbow hunting gear and techniques is offered by the Missouri Department of Conservation. The crossbow is an ancient form of archery and is enjoying new popularity as a tool for hunting and target shooting. The free virtual online clinic will be offered February 7th, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
MDC staff will discuss crossbow types, features, and hunting considerations. The online presentation will include demonstrations of crossbow loading and shooting. Trouble shooting and safety tips will also be offered.
