Council Approves Chillicothe Hazard Mitigation Plan

A Hazard Mitigation Plan was approved by the Chillicothe City Council.  City Administrator Darin Chappell says this allows the City to apply for assistance from FEMA in the event of a disaster.

For Chillicothe, there is a large focus on flooding in the plan.

The Council approved a resolution that is sent to FEMA so they have the information on file.
