Chillicothe A Site For Mass COVID-19 Vaccination

Chillicothe is one of several communities across the state that will have a COVID-19 mass vaccination event this week.

This event will be  Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at the United Methodist Church, 1414 Walnut Street.  YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO RECEIVE THE VACCINE.

The COVID-19 mass vaccination event is in partnership with the Missouri National Guard, Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), and local health care systems.   Governor Parson says, “We are very pleased with how well the first week of mass vaccinations went, and we greatly appreciate the help of our Missouri National Guard and local partners in this effort,” Parson said. “Although vaccine supply remains limited, we are happy to announce locations for the second week of mass vaccination events so that all eligible Missourians have an opportunity to explore additional avenues in receiving a vaccine.”

Another Mass Vaccination will be Saturday at South Harrison High School in Bethany.  The hours are also 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.  YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO RECEIVE THE VACCINE.

The National Guard and DHSS vaccination teams will return to each site after 21 days to administer second dose vaccinations.
