The CLAA Basketball tournament began over the weekend with two play-in games in the 9-teams tournament.
The Hale/Bosworth girls team beat Keytesville 49 to 46. Hale/Bosworth was led by Karter Burnside with 26 points and Keytesville was led by Madison Brashear with 17 points, Maggie Richardson with 12 and Kinsey Wilhort with 10.
Braymer boys beat Breckenridge 61 to 24. For Braymer Vincent Youtsey had 14, Landon Baker with 13 and Carson Brame with 11 points.
Breckenridge was led by Jayden Lewis with 9 points.
First round games tonight (Weather permitting) is #4 Braymer girls vs Brunswick at 4:30pm, #3 Hale boys vs Brunswick at 6:00pm. #2 Tina-Avalon girls vs Hardin-Central at 7:30pm and #4 Tina-Avalon boys vs Hardin-Central at 9:00pm.
