The Chillicothe Police Department reports busy days Friday and Saturday and a slow day on Sunday.

Friday:

At 9:22 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance and trespassing in the 600 block of Bus. 36.  The man causing the disturbance and trespassing left without further incident.

At 1:04 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about a possible harassment in the 1300 bock of N. Washington St.

At 1:54 p.m., Officers responded to an emergency alarm in the 2700 block of N. Washington St.  Officers found a man was causing a disturbance.  Officers handled the issue and the man left without further incident.

At 7:32 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a shoplifter in the 1000 block of Graves St.  Officers arrested a male who was processed at the Police Department and released pending a court appearance.

At 8:14 p.m., Officers took a report of shoplifting in the 1000 block of Graves St.  The investigation is on-going.

Saturday:

At 2:29 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a person needing assistance with alcoholism in the 800 block of State St.  The person was transported to a hospital for further assistance.

At 12:01 p.m., Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury motor vehicle crash at Green St. and S. Washington St.

At 3:55 p.m., Officers spoke with a resident about possible stealing and identity theft.  They did not wish to file a report.

At 6:25 p.m., Officers were dispatched to person suffering from a mental health crisis in the 300 block of Cherry St.  The person was transported to a hospital for treatment and evaluation.

At 6:30 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible illegal substance located in a home in the 300 block of Webster St.  The items were removed and disposed.

At 8:30 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1000 block of S. Washington St.  A man was arrested for domestic assault.  He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

Sunday:

1:10 PM, Officers were called to the 400 block of Williams Street for a report of a disturbance.  Officers contacted both people involved and informed one that they were not to return at the request of the homeowner.  There was no further incident.

2:48 PM, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Washington Street for a report of theft.  No suspects have been identified at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers also conducted traffic stops, business checks, and handled several weather-related accidents.
