Old Man Winter is showing he is still the King of pains in the neck. The cancellations and postponements due to cold weather continues to affect High School activities including athletic events.
Due to the sub-zero wind chills, Chillicothe basketball games with Savannah last week, and again last night were postponed. Now, Varsity and Junior Varsity basketball games against Lafayette scheduled for tonight have been pushed back to Wednesday with Girls JV/V at Lafayette at 5:30, Boys C/JV/V at Chillicothe at 5:00
Chillicothe has girls and boys games scheduled at Kirksville Thursday, but Boys vs Marshall Friday was cancelled by Marshall, so the Owls can make good missed conference games. The Hornets have doubleheaders at Savannah the 22nd, at Cameron the 23rd and at Maryville the 25th.
