The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 107 calls for service Thursday. Among the calls were:
9:05 am, School Officer at 1100 block of Oak Street with a report of possible sexual abuse. Investigation continuing.
10:44 am, Subject calling about having received a “scam” phone call. Advised to call their bank and Social Security.
12:58 pm, Subject calling to speak with Officer about the caller’s daughter being harassed. Information received and investigation will continue.
3:53 pm, Officers assisted Emergency Services of a fire call in the 700 block of Clay Street. Fire out on arrival.
4:14 pm, Officer out at business in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street to recover illegal drugs that someone had dropped. The item brought to the PD to be destroyed.
7:16 pm, Subject calling the PD on 911 from an address in Hale and apparently suffering mental issue. Carroll County advised of subject’s address to check their well-being.
