The Chillicothe Mudcats organization is moving forward and planning on returning to the baseball diamond this summer.
When the season begins, the Mudcats will have a new skipper. Former Coach Caleb Bounds has accepted a full-time job at Rock Valley College and will be required to be there year-round, according to Mudcats General Manager Doug Doughty.
Taking over the coaching position will be Tyler Hudlow, an assistant at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. is a former NCMC baseball player and then played for Central Methodist University.
Hudlow has been coaching in a Florida league the past two summers.
