On the Chillicothe police report from some of the events on Friday, February 19th:
7:18am, A subject called the police department to speak with an Officer in reference to an ongoing investigation.
8:48am, A motorist was assisted at Business 36 and US 65. A vehicle was moved from roadway.
9:05am, The School Officer was at the 1100 block of Oak Street with a report of possible sexual abuse. An investigation is continuing.
10:44am, A subject called about having received a “scam” phone call. The subject was advised to call their bank and Social Security.
12:27pm, An officer checked a complaint of animal mistreatment in the 300 block of Clay Street. The animal was not located outside.
12:58pm, A subject called to speak with an Officer about their daughter being harassed. The information was obtained and the investigation will continue.
2:57pm, A report of another phone “Scam” attempt.
3:14pm, Officers checked on a 911 call from the 600 block of West Business 36. The subject was contacted and there was no emergency.
3:31pm, Officers checked a report of possible trespassing in the 500 block of Samuel Street.
3:53pm, Officers assisted Emergency Services on a fire call in the 700 block of Clay Street. The fire out on arrival.
4:14pm, Officer was at a business in the 1000 block of South Washington Street to recover illegal drugs that someone had dropped. The item was brought to the Police Department to be destroyed.
7:16pm, A subject called on 911 from an address in Hale and apparently suffering mental issue. Carroll County advised of subject’s address to check their well-being.
9:12pm, Officer assisted Emergency Services on a medical call in the 1700 block of Deringer Drive.
11:06pm, Officers monitored traffic for a car coming from Brookfield with a domestic disturbance inside. The subject called back and everything was OK and no further attention was needed.
11:48pm, Officers checked the area of the 1700 block of Keith Avenue for possible disturbance and made contact with an intoxicated subject.
