The Third Seed Chillicothe Lady Hornets begin their District tournament this afternoon when they host Richmond at 1:00pm.
Chillicothe rolled over Richmond on January 12th in the Lawson Tournament 73-13. Richmond does have a local connection. They are coached by Chillicothe alum and former Hornets boys coach Chad Snyder.
Chillicothe is 16-6 but have lost three straight conference games. Richmond is 5-16 on the season, and also have lost their last three games.
KCHI will broadcast the game live, with the pre-game show around 12:45. The winner of the game advances to the district semi-finals against #2 seed St Joseph Benton, which has a first round bye in the six-team district.
