The Grundy County E911 system will undergo an update on Wednesday. The work is scheduled to start at 10:00 am and will provide their call center with both updates and upgrades.
County officials are not expecting any downtime while the work takes place, however, if there are interruptions, the 911 calls will be answered by the back-up system in Linn County
The Update and Upgrades include the implementation of the next generation of E911 Call Answering equipment.
