With basketball season over for Chillicothe and only a few wrestlers preparing for their appearance in the State Wrestling Tournament, KCHI is turning its attention to the Spring Sports season.
Practice started the first of the month and the Hornets Baseball team has a new head coach. Former assistant coach Joshua Lisle talks about his coaching experience.
While there wasn’t a spring sports season last year, Coach Lisle says the Hornet players did get some games in over the summer.
Lisle has 39 players out for baseball including nine Juniors and Seniors and 30 Freshmen and Sophomores.
Chillicothe has a preseason jamboree on the road on March 16th with their first game of the season at Savannah on March 19th.
