Chillicothe Senior softball player Mollie Ellis has signed to continue her softball career at North Central Missouri College in Trenton.
Ellis feels NCMC will be a good fit for her skills next year.
Ellis was a key player in the Chillicothe team’s outfield on their conference championship and District runner-up team. She was a 2nd team all-district outfielder.
She had 19 hits in 58 at-bats this season with 16 singles and three doubles. She had 12 rbi and a .328 average plus four stolen bases.
In fielding, Ellis had 27 put outs and one assist in 31 total chances with 2 double plays and a .903 fielding percentage.
She also was part of the pitching rotation with six games pitched. She had a 3-1 record plus one save.
