A Carrollton woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Lafayette County. The accident happened Monday at about 7:55 am, when 35-year-old Heather Mead of Carrollton was eastbound on US 24, and 44-year-old Kyra Tracy of Carrollton was westbound. Mead crossed the centerline and struck the driver’s side of the Tracy vehicle. Mead was taken to Carroll County Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. Both drivers were wearing safety belts.
