A woman accused of starting a fire in a home on Jackson Street on January 10th will appear in Circuit Court on April 8th. The fire at 1504 Jackson was in a home that was occupied and the woman accused of starting the fire was refusing to leave the home.
59-year-old Tomi Joy Novak was in court Wednesday and waived the right to a preliminary hearing. The case has been scheduled for April 8th at 9:00 am, but no judge has been assigned at this time.
