The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Basketball team was honored at their annual Banquet last night.
Chillicothe finished 17-8 in varsity matches, a record that Coach Darren Smith said included some close losses.
Smith said his team also had some quality wins over quality competition.. He said six different Lady Hornets led the team in scoring in at least one game. He also said the team grew through the season with balance among the players.
The future also looks bright. The team will lose just one Senior, starting post player Brooke Horton.
The Junior Varsity team went 12-0 and featured six players that led the team in scoring in a game.
The C-team finished an impressive 6-1.
