The Chillicothe Police Department responded to several calls for service over the weekend.
Saturday, there were 72 calls for service
3:22 pm, Officer checking well-being of a person in a vehicle in the area of Keith Street and Gilbert Road. Officers determined the person was under influence of intoxicants. They were processed and released pending laboratory testing.
8:15 pm, An individual came to the Police Department with concerns of possible child abuse occurring in another jurisdiction.
Sunday, officers responded to 76 calls for service
3:24 PM, Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident in a private parking lot in the 1000 block of Graves Street.
6:30 PM, Officer called to the 600 block of Business 36 by an off-duty officer from another jurisdiction regarding a possible stolen vehicle at that location. Officers determined the vehicle had not been stolen.
Between 7:05 PM and 925 PM, Officer conducted 8 traffic enforcement stops for various violations. One of these stops resulted in the arrest of a 33 year old woman from the State of Kansas for possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. She was processed at the police department.
