Chillicothe Municipal Utilities Household Hazardous Materials Drop Off is held each Spring and Fall. The Spring event is this Saturday from 9:00 am to Noon and is available for residents of Chillicothe and Livingston County. CMU Refuse Director Troy Figg says it is for residential items only, not from businesses.
Figg says they are practicing Social Distancing.
Batteries can be placed in bags, fluorescent tubes can be taped together and liquid items should be left in the original container or package. They will NOT accept tires.
